| Description: | Homer's slightly senile
father, Abe, is usually doing one of a few things. (a) complaining (b) sleeping (c)
getting lost. Abe lives at the Springfield Retirement Home. He sold his house to allow
Homer to buy the Simpsons current house. Abe claimed he built with his own hands, when
he'd actually won it on a 'crooked 50's game show'. Abe is very absent minded and will do
his trademark falling asleep mid conversation. Abe was in love with Grandma Bouvier
(Marge's Mom), but she was nearly taken from him by Monty Burns. Grandpa Simpson has a
talent for pointless and irrelevant stories and loves the show 'Matlock'.
